7.9-magnitude earthquake killed more than 8,000 and Over 22,000 people have been injured by the earthquakes in Nepal. Tremors were also felt in parts of North India. Here's a full report presented by Aaj Tak Television India.

Earthquakes are natural disasters that occur on earth. An earthquake happens when the earths plates move from one place to another and slide. When two blocks of hard rock two plates are rubbing each other. They don't just slide smoothly; the rocks catch on each other. The rocks are still pushing against each other, but not moving. After a while, the rocks break because of all the pressure that's built up. When the rocks break, the earthquake happens.
