After devastating earthquake The death toll from the April 25 several aftershocks including two powerful ones has reached so far 8,497 till today, according to the Nepal Police. And also number of the injured has passed over 22,000. In the May 12 major aftershock alone, 76 were killed in Dolakha, 20 Sindhupalchowk and 12 in Ramechhap, According to Nepal Police official

Shattered buildings and debris still line the streets, and tents have been pitched in Kathmandu's main sports stadium and on its golf course. According to UN 600,000 houses have been destroyed or damaged badly in Nepal.

Some residents in Kathmandu are worried about the pace of rebuilding people's homes, especially as the monsoon season approaches soon.
