The death toll in Nepal rises from the April 25 earthquake has reached 7,912 as per the government official.

As per the Nepal police statement on Thursday deceased include 67 foreign citizens according to the data provided by Nepal Police official.

According to Nepal Police 7,683 bodies have already been identified and handed over to the families of the deceased. The remaining bodies of persons are yet to be identified and are being kept in hospitals across the country.

According to Nepal police 1,713 have been killed in capital Kathmandu, 53 in Eastern Region of Nepal, 5,728 in Central Region of Nepal, 416 in Western Region and two in Midwestern Region of Nepal. Likewise, 9,022 in capital have sustained injuries, 327 in Eastern Region of Nepal, 5,473 in Central Region of Nepal, 1,046 in Western Region and 22 in Midwestern Region of Nepal
