Higher Secondary School in remote Nepal of Basa VDC Solukhumbu District of Everest Region. In this remote area where most of place education are only accessible up to grade 10th which is called School leaving Certificate (SLC) or Iron Gate. Therefore, due to the lack of higher education in remotes village huge amount of students will leave the school after grade 10th since they have to travel district headquarters, room rents, education cost are always beyond of their budget. Even this situation is more appeared for girls in these extremely rural areas because of gender discrimination.

In those places the girls are always given second opportunity as sons are always first choice of parents, Girls are socially and culturally not allowed to leave house and stay away from house for any reason, and also girls are regarded as a property of others since they have to leave the parents home after marriage due to this reason traditionally parents treat daughters are not given much priority as equal to son in family and in society. This higher education center greatly help to keep girls two more years in collage and positive change begins from here.

This project highly supporting the entire Basa Village Developments committee along with other neighboring VDC. After the construction of this school here over hundreds of students will receive professional higher education of Business Management, Humanities, and Science with partnership with the local community and Nepali NGO, The Small World, Edge of Seven & Peaks Foundation. : The Small World
